Hospice & Palliative Care
What is Hospice Care?
Hospice is a special blend of care designed to provide sensitivity, dignity, support, and quality care for those who are terminally ill.
Skilled nurses, certified aides, therapists, homemakers, and other hospice team members make scheduled visits to the patient whether he/she resides at home, in a assisted/independent living, or in a nursing home. As the hospice patient, you and your family directs the amount and type of care received.
The goal of hospice is to enhance the quality of life for the patient, their family, and friends.
